This month

  • Bundy in Bloom is an annual community celebration of spring which was originally held over one weekend, but now encompasses the whole month of September.
  • As part of the Bundy in Bloom Celebrations Bundaberg Regional Council and the Combined Lions Clubs of Bundaberg will be hosting the annual Bundy in Bloom Parade and Family Fun Day Sunday 12th September 2010, 11am
  • "Frogs Hollow Run Bike Show" will be held Saturday 25th September 2010. Gates open to public at 10.00am- 12.00 midnite at Apple Tree Creek Hotel on the Bruce Hwy 5 Ks north Childers.

Next month

  • Bundaberg Arts Festival (04/Oct-09/Oct)Entries are received from all over Australia and it is considered a great opportunity for artists to showcase their talents, and for locals and visitors to the Bundaberg region to see and appreciate art, which otherwise would not be available to them in Bundaberg.

  • The Port2Port Yacht Rally (15/Oct-01/Nov) is a rally (not a race!) and sails from Luganville and Port Vila, Vanuatu and Noumea, New Caledonia to Port Bundaberg, Queensland where a week of festivities is held to entertain the many visitors. The boats are monitored during the rally by twice daily radio schedules. The Lighthouse Festival will be combined with the Yacht Rally as part of the CRUSH Festival.

  • The Monster Tour of Destruction (16/Oct) is an action packed night of family entertainment for all the family, so come early and meet the drivers and get up close to a Monster Truck at the free pit party from 4pm.
